A Book Bank facility is available in the college, providing free books to students for the complete session.

Student Council

The college has a Students’ Representative body, aptly named as the “Student Council”, which gives students a platform to voice their opinions and participate actively in college affairs.

Major Activities of the Student Council include:

• Assisting in maintaining discipline, conducting assemblies and college functions.
• Acting as a link between faculty and students.
• Reporting issues that require attention.
• Representing student concerns to the administration.
• Offering dedicated service towards the improvement of the college.
• Funds are provided based on needs.

Remedial Classes

Academically low achievers are identified through their performance in class tests, snap tests, and house examinations. Following measures are taken to support these students:

• Tutorials and remedial classes focusing on difficult areas of learning.
• Improving listening, writing, and communication skills to overcome language barriers.
• Providing adequate practice work and simplified notes.
• Individual attention and quick revision materials prepared by faculty members.
• Friendly environment for motivation and confidence building.
• Opportunity for students to approach teachers during free periods.
• Psycho-social counselling provided by teachers and a qualified counsellor.

Enrichment Programmes

Advanced learners are provided with additional assignments, responsibilities, and platforms such as quizzes, debates, and elocution competitions to showcase their academic potential. Their achievements are recognized and rewarded during the Annual Function.
