Financial Resources

All the services are free of cost to the teacher trainees and the schools. All necessary expenses including photocopying, filing, and correspondence for organizing campus interviews are borne by the institution. The college makes liberal budgetary provisions for the placement drive. Scholarships are received from Director Public Instruction (Punjab) and the Sports Scholarship of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Book Bank facility and financial assistance are also available for needy students.

Student Council

The college has a Students’ Representative body, aptly named as the “Student Council”, which gives students a platform to voice their opinions and participate actively in college affairs.

Remedial Classes

Academically low achievers are identified through their performance in class tests, snap tests, and house examinations. Following measures are taken to support these students:

  • Tutorials and remedial classes focusing on difficult areas of learning.
  • Improving listening, writing, and communication skills to overcome language barriers.
  • Providing adequate practice work and simplified notes.
  • Individual attention and quick revision materials prepared by faculty members.
  • Friendly environment for motivation and confidence building.
  • Opportunity for students to approach teachers during free periods.
  • Psycho-social counselling provided by teachers and a qualified counsellor.

Enrichment Programmes

Advanced learners are provided with additional assignments, responsibilities, and platforms such as quizzes, debates, and elocution competitions to showcase their academic potential. Their achievements are recognized and rewarded during the Annual Function.
