Mentoring Arrangement

At Lala Jagat Naryan Education College, a well-structured mentoring system is in place to support and guide the students throughout the academic year. The college timetable includes a dedicated Tutorial Period, during which students are divided into small groups, each assigned to a mentor.

During the weekly Tutorial Period, the mentor interacts with the group, providing counseling and addressing academic, personal, and professional concerns. Depending on the situation, the mentor either personally assists or coordinates with the college management or administration to resolve issues effectively.

Each mentor continuously monitors the academic progress, overall development, and career-related needs of their assigned students. For any leave or concession, students are expected to inform their mentor through a formal written application.

Additionally, every student is provided with a diary to maintain records of attendance, lesson plans, practical work, examination scores, and participation in curricular and co-curricular activities. This diary is reviewed and verified by the mentor at the end of each week, ensuring systematic growth and active involvement of every trainee.
